Bachcho Ko Kaise Sudhare

Hitting Your Kids - Kya Bacho Ko Marna Chahiye

Why you shouldn't spank your kids

Why You Should Never Spank Your Child -

Bacho Ko Kaise Samjhaye

What Happens when You Beat Your Child

Why do parents use physical discipline?
1. We beat our children as we are conditioned form our
childhood that it is the right thing to do.
2. "The brain is hard-wired to pick up negative things in the
environment; this is just how humans and mammals are." So
parents naturally pay more attention to a child's bad behavior,
rather than to all the good things they may be doing the rest of
the day.

3. There is increasing evidence that watching or engaging in
aggressive behavior excites the reward centers in the brain,
giving an incentive for aggression.

Het geeft me rust.

Eric Whitacre: Light & Gold(2010)
Eric Whitacre / Eric Whitacre Singers

The lyrics of this song are a poem, "Seal Lullaby, " written by Rudyard Kipling as an introduction to "The White Seal," the seventh story in "The Jungle Book," first published in 1894.

The tune was written by Eric Whitacre in 2004.

"Oh! hush thee, my baby, the night is behind us,
And black are the waters that sparkled so green.
The moon, o'er the combers, looks downward to find us
At rest in the hollows that rustle between.

Where billow meets billow, then soft be thy pillow;
Ah, weary wee flipperling, curl at thy ease!
The storm shall not wake thee, nor shark overtake thee,
Asleep in the arms of the slow-swinging seas (x2)".
