[Brazilian Internet Steering Committee] Debate

This was the first of a series of webinars that are being co-organized by the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee and the research group Rethinking Relations between Society and the State of the Political Science Institute at the University of Brasilia.

Based on their research on social movements in different regions of the world - from Asia to Latin America and Europe - the panelists discussed how social movements have used new digital technologies and their impacts on democratic life.

Panelists: Marisa von Bülow (University of Brasilia), Paolo Gerbaudo (King's College London) e Ming-sho Ho (National Taiwan University).
