Acrylic Pouring – Fire Swipe

In Honor of the Chicago Heroes Event this weekend in Chicago; I decided to do a fire themed pour an swipe. The goal was to make this look like fire to be used as a possible Sig board.
I am so pleased with the way this turned out. Please let me know your thoughts 

About Desco Artistry

I am a Mixed Media Artist. I am a Mom, full time Employee, and the owner/creator behind Desco Artistry. I love to work with Acrylics, Alcohol Inks, and Resin to create unique and inspiring artwork. There is so much beauty in nature, I like to incorporate different colors and textures that call to me.

I have always loved Art and have taken classes since I was young. I used to work in Pastels, but due to an injury to my right hand and the subsequent loss of dexterity/sensitivity I had to find other mediums to work with. Abstract Art and the different "fluid" mediums have given me the opportunity to create again.

I believe in channeling my creative urges in order to produce unique artwork. My inspiration for my work is nature and the ability to evoke emotions. Desco Artistry is born out of a combination of my education, training and experience, which allows my perspective as an artist to continually take chances and make "Happy Little Mistakes". Art is how I offer new ways of viewing the world.

Arting is my therapy. So many people have been so kind and forthcoming with knowledge; I want to pass that on to the next person in hopes of helping them find the joy of arting.

Art is Therapy and It is my happy Place :)
