Campi Flegrei is one of the most complex volcanic structures that exists in our Earth. It dwells beneath Italy's town of Naples and has, in past eruptions, created major catastrophic damage to the local lands and living organisms, as well as effects that were as far reaching as effecting the entire globe. Campi Flegrei is among the other active super volcanoes that exist in our world. Only it seems to be the closest to erupting. In the past three decades scientists have been increasingly concerned with the activity from it. Campi Flegrei is also named the Phlegraeaen fields in English. And for a good reason. Unlike other supervolcanoes such as Lake Toba, Yellowstone, or Lake Taupo, it is a literal field of numerous calderas, and more than one Magma chamber. Mount Vesuvius, is actually connected to the magma chamber that this Supervolcano is slowly building more and more magma within.

If it erupted in present day, the effects would be devestating. It has demonstrated itself as having eruptions at least five times larger than that of Mount Tambora. Which to this day is the most fatal volcanic eruptions humans have ever witnessed in modern history since the last Ice Age.

This is a four part series exploring the amazing, and very frightening facts regarding the Italian Supervolcano. I was unable to make only one video of this, as one would not do it justice and I would be skipping numerous vital facts that I felt are very much worth explaining in depth. I hope you enjoy this video. Part two will be released in the next few days.

Much love to each and every one of you!
Thanks again :)
