Hi everyone! This is my brand new LEGO stop motion video, which sees Marvel and DC superheroes' Batman, Iron Man and Spider-man stroll through a graveyard on Halloween chatting to one another. On the way through Batman kicks one of the tombstones, angering the ghost who then follows them. How will the ghost get it's revenge? Find out now!

What is Stop Motion?

Stop motion is a way of animation which makes it look like still objects are moving. Clay animation is a good example of how stop motion is used. Stop-motion requires any camera that can make single frames (or photos). It works by shooting a single frame, moving the object a little bit, and capturing a frame again. Cartoons use a similar way; one of the main differences is that stop motion uses real objects instead of drawn.

The Characters:

Spider-Man (Marvel)

Peter Parker, also known by his superhero alter-ego Spider-Man, is a web-slinging human with the super abilities of a spider. While attending a public exhibition demonstrating the safe handling of nuclear laboratory waste materials, sponsored by the General Techtronics Corporation, Peter was bitten by a radioactive spider that had been irradiated by a particle accelerator used in the demonstration. Making his way home afterwards, Peter discovered he had somehow gained incredible strength, agility, and the ability to cling to walls; spider-like traits that he immediately associated with the spider bite.

Iron Man (Marvel)

Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark, simply known as Tony Stark, and also known as the famous super-hero named Iron Man, is a character that appears in the Iron Man trilogy films and in The Avengers movie. He was portrayed by actor Robert Downey, Jr., and is based on the character of the same name in the comics.
He is a billionaire, genius, playboy, and philanthropist. He is well-known as Iron Man, owns Stark Industries, is its CEO, lives in his house in Malibu, and is one of the founding and lead member of The Avengers.

Batman (DC)

Batman is the secret identity of Bruce Wayne. Witnessing the murder of his parents as a child leads him to train himself to physical and intellectual perfection and don a bat-themed costume in order to fight crime. Batman operates in Gotham City, assisted by various supporting characters including his sidekick Robin and his butler Alfred Pennyworth, and fights an assortment of villains Unlike most superheroes, he does not possess any superpowers; he makes use (to the best that he can) of intellect, detective skills, science and technology, wealth, physical prowess, and intimidation in his war on crime.

Ghost (Halloween)

A friendly and harmless ghost in reality, it can be seen angered in this video but only as a result of Batman kicking it's tombstone.
