re:publica 2017 - Saud Al-Zaid: After the Next Attack: Terrorism in the Trump Era

This talk rests on two rather foreseeable predictions. First is that there will be a mass casualty attack in the United States in the early days of the Trump administration. Second, that the attack will be connected to "Islamic Terrorism" even before all the facts have been established. I will break down reactions from both official and unofficial channels, then put those reactions in a historical context to predict future escalation, which I've recently defined as a "Clash of Digitalizations".
