Space Engine 0.9.6 Update - Supermassive Black Holes, Pandora and Spacecraft
We're back in the free 3-D universe simulator software called Space Engine to check out what new features and additions are in the latest 0.9.6 Update. Windows users can get Space Engine at http://en.spaceengine.org
First we stop by familiar old Mars, where in less than one month the Mars Science Laboratory "Curiosity" Rover will be landing, and where the Opportunity rover has recently surpassed 3,000 Sols on its mission. Then we head to the center of the Milky Way galaxy to check out the supermassive black hole there, as requested by a fan! Last, we swing by the sci-fi home of the giant blue forest people in Avatar on our way to check out new, controllable spacecraft, just added to Space Engine in this latest update.
