On the evening of August 31st, 2013, a large crowd gathered at Parque Pies Descalzos in Medellín, Colombia. When Alan Parsons appeared on stage, along with the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra and his band the audience went wild. This is an audio visual document of that incredible evening.

Alan Parsons was 19 years old when he landed a job at the world famous Abbey Road Studios, an important first step on his journey to becoming a world class engineer, producer and artist. Following his beginnings with George Martin and The Beatles, his contribution to Pink Floyd’s classic ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ earned him worldwide attention. As a producer he had many hits with Pilot, John Miles, Ambrosia and Al Stewart. Together with his manager and creative partner at the time, Eric Woolfson, he developed the Alan Parsons Project.

Following their debut album “Tales Of Mystery And Imagination“ (1976), they released a series of hit albums; namely “I Robot” (1977), “Pyramid” (1978), “The Turn of a Friendly Card” (1980), “Eye in the Sky” (1982), “Ammonia Avenue” (1984), “Vulture Culture” (1985), “Stereotomy” (1986) and “Gaudi” (1987).

Then Parsons and Woolfson called it a day, but Parsons had ambitions to perform the amazing music live. Now to the great delight of his fans, for the first time on a live video and audio recording, THE ALAN PARSONS SYMPHONIC PROJECT combines the talents of his amazing band with the lush sound of a 70-piece symphony orchestra, creating a very special show with unmatched quality. Together, they revitalize hits such as “Eye In The Sky“, “Don’t Answer Me“ and “Sirius“.

The lineup consists of Alan Parsons on acoustic guitar, keys, and vocals, P.J. Olsson (lead vocals), Alastair Greene (guitar, vocals), Guy Erez (bass, vocals), Danny Thompson (drums, vocals), Tom Brooks (keyboards, vocals) und Todd Cooper (saxophone, guitar, percussion, vocals). Alejandro Posada conducts the Medellin Philharmonic Orchestra

Claire Saffitz Makes Chocolate Chip Cookies | Dessert Person
What makes the best chocolate chip cookies? In Claire’s opinion, it’s a chewy edge, soft and chewy center, puddles of chocolate (in this case, dark and milk), a healthy amount of salt, and, crucially, lots of butterscotch-y flavor from the interplay of vanilla, brown sugar, and brown butter. That might sound like a lot, but it all comes together easily in a couple of bowls, no stand mixer required. The hardest part is definitely waiting for the dough to chill in the fridge before baking.

With the teaser trailer for It: Chapter 2 being released recently, people are starting to get excited for the sequel to the 2017 horror hit.

I recently went back and rewatched It: Chapter 1 -- and that got me thinking about a few theories I have about the new one. These are my 3 IT: Chapter 2 Theories!

The first is a theory about the fate of Henry Bowers. In the first movie he see him get pushed into a seemingly endless pit inside the well in the basement of 29 Neibolt. This theory will address how I think the character will be handled going forward.

The second theory is about origin of It. I think there are a few childhood scenes that might have taken place during the childhood era -- but weren't shown in the movie and we could see those scenes as flashbacks in the sequel.

The third theory regards the final form of IT. This one will go into spoiler territory, but don't worry, I'll leave a spoiler warning before we get there.

Richie Tozier is his name, and doing voices is his game. Richie is the comic relief of the Losers Club, the seven kids in Derry, Maine who oppose the monster known as It. In this video I'll be going through the entire chronological life of Richie Tozier and doing a complete breakdown and character analysis.

This will cover the entire known history of Richie from his birth to his appearance in another Stephen King novel, to his last known actions at the end of IT. Please note that this will only analyse Richie as he is in the books. I will show clips from the movies as a visual aid, but for the purposes of Horror History, the books are canon.

I'll be explaining what Richie's strengths and weaknesses are, going over his many voices, breaking down what drives his character, how he fights against Pennywise, doing a psychological analysis based on all his actions, and discussing what he represents symbolically in the book.

Horror History is a series that analyses specific characters, monsters, places or events in the fictional worlds of your favorite horror franchises.

--About IT Chapter Two--
Evil resurfaces in Derry as director Andy Muschietti reunites the Losers Club—young and adult—in a return to where it all began with “It Chapter Two.”

The film is Muschietti’s follow-up to 2017’s critically acclaimed and massive worldwide box office hit “IT,” which grossed over $700 million globally. Both redefining and transcending the genre, “IT” became part of the cultural zeitgeist as well as the highest-grossing horror film of all time.

Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, “It Chapter Two” brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.
