Music by Michael Levine featuring Jordan Reyne

This music video tells the story about a certain time in my life where being in a relationship was the best thing for me, but also the worst. Going through break-ups constantly, dealing with ex-girlfriend drama, and the list goes on and on. We are closing a chapter in my life about someone who was not only my best friend but someone I loved dearly and grew up with. That chapter will always hold a special place in my heart, and remind me that not everyone will stay with me forever, but the lessons they taught me will. Being in love is never easy, but sometimes it can teach you something about yourself that you would never know otherwise.

Lyrics:
I’m falling to my grave
You messed me up again
And I can’t take it
Your eyes made me feel anxious

My god
I miss your legs on my dash
On the way to your dads
Who never liked
Im guessing I’m not for love

I was hoping that we’d see this though but I don’t know
Now I’m broken
Overthinking bout my future now
Tell me a story that I don’t already know
Then I could try to let go

Now I say love
Was meant to be difficult
I say love
Was meant to be toxic
Now I say love
I say love
I say love was meant for us

You drove here in your car
Then crashed it in my yard
I didn’t mind tho
Your laugh made me forget about it
And I’m so used to doing everything I know you like
Now your walking out that door because you know Im right

I was hoping that we’d see this though but I don’t know
Now I’m broken
Overthinking bout my future now
Tell me a story that I don’t already know
Then I could try to let go

Now I say love
Was meant to be difficult
I say love
Was meant to be toxic
Now I say love
I say love
I say love was meant for us

Say were too young to be falling in love
But if I didn’t break you how else would I learn
Oh shit I did it again
Tell me where does it end
Maybe I’m too innocent
And I been fighting all my Demond’s
You get mad but ain’t got reasons
For leaving
Can you please pick up the phone
Reminiscing what we had
Wishing I could take it back
Don’t know where we went off track
Don’t give me a second change
To hold you I need you
But I guess that I’m scared to admit that
So don’t be knocking at my door
There’s somebody out there who needs you more

Now I say love
Was meant to be difficult
I say love
Was meant to be toxic
Now I say love
I say love
I say love was meant for us

Now I say love
Was meant to be difficult
I say love
Was meant to be toxic
Now I say love
I say love
I say love was meant for us

In this episode, we’ll take a look at the below documentary films:

Knock Down the House
“Knock Down the House” follows the political aspirations of four progressive women - Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Amy Vilela, Cori Bush, and Paula Jean Swearengin – as they hit the campaign trail in 2018 to push for change in the United States.

We speak with New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to find out how she plans to continue to change the face of US politics.

Send Me Home
Rickey Jackson was 18 years-old in 1975 when he was sent to prison for a crime he didn’t commit, serving 39 years before he was exonerated in 2014. Rickey recounts his experience behind bars in "Send Me Home" – a 360-degree immersive journey of his return to society.

We speak with Rickey Jackson and director Cassandra Evanisko to learn about his time as the longest-held US prisoner to be cleared of a crime.

For Sama
In “For Sama”, Syrian filmmaker Waad al-Kateab tells the story of besieged Aleppo during five years of the brutal war in Syria. As violence rages around her, al-Kateab finds love, gets married and gives birth, documenting the conflict for her newborn daughter, Sama, to whom she dedicates the film.

“I feel it does justice to our experience, our sacrifices and the unimaginable pain of what we, the Syrian people, endured during those years of the revolution”, al-Kateab told Channel 4 News. “It’s our story, our voices, and I’m proud of it. This film is also for the people lost — a testament to their sacrifices.”

We meet Waad al-Kateab and co-director Edward Watts to hear about the sacrifices that made “For Sama” possible.
