The Swedish Royal Navy is the naval branch of the Swedish Armed Forces. It is composed of surface and submarine naval units – the Fleet – as well as marine units, the so-called Amphibious Corps.
In Swedish, vessels of the Swedish Navy are given the prefix "HMS," short for Hans/Hennes Majestäts Skepp. In English, this is often changed to "HSwMS" to differentiate Swedish vessels from those of the Royal Navy.

(17 Aug 2019) China's paramilitary People's Armed Police continued to hold drills in Shenzhen on Saturday, across the border from Hong Kong, fuelling speculation that they could be sent in to suppress the protests.
Officers could be seen exercising inside a sports stadium, and dozens of army-green armoured carriers and trucks were parked in and outside the facility.
Chinese state media said that the Shenzhen exercises were planned earlier and were not directly related to the unrest in Hong Kong.
However, speculation arise as they came shortly after the central government in Beijing said the protests were beginning to show the "sprouts of terrorism."
Hong Kong kicked off another weekend of protests with thousands of schoolteachers marching to the official residence of the city's leader earlier Saturday.
Another protest was held in a district on the Kowloon side of Victoria Harbour, and a counter-rally backing the government at Victoria park.
This would be the 10th consecutive weekend where protests were held in the Chinese territory, demanding the Hong Kong Chief Executive's resignation, democratic elections and an independent investigation into police use of force.

Many people talk about "high gain" and "low gain" pedals and refer to different circuits which are really either harder clipping or softer clipping. In this video I'll take one circuit and change nothing but the diodes to explain how "clipping" often gets confused as "gain".

Of course, the gain knob generally IS adding gain, but it's the limitations of the circuit or another component such as diodes that's causing it to clip more.
