Una banda de rock que llegó a lo más alto. Creando múltiples estilos de música rock, desde diferentes inspiraciones musicales, y conviertiendóse en una de las mejores bandas en el escenario. En 1970, Paul Stanley y Gene Simmons, miembros, forman Wicked Lester, tocando música hard rock clásico, tipo Led Zeppelin. En 1974, crean un álbum debut que los hacen famosos, y en 1975, sacan Rock N Roll all nite. Ahi ya son lo más. En EEUU son la mejor banda del momento. En 1976 siguen sacando muchos y buenos álbumes. La música se va viendo afectada por la música disco. En 1979 sacan Dynasty, con el famoso tema : I was made for lovin you. Inspirado en música disco, fans hard rockeros de la banda abuchean el tema, pero muchos otros lo aclaman como un simple cambio del estilo musica de la banda. En 1980, Peter Criss deja la banda (Batería), pero siguen adelante con Eric Carr (Nuevo batería). A partir de 1982, el estilo musical de KISS se ve cambiado a un hard rock más propiamente dicho. Sería un cambio radical. Al año siguiente Ace Frehley abandona la banda. En 1983, sacan Lick it up, sería un tema importante marcando este nuevo estilo musical. Vendría el guitarrista Vie nnie Vincent, pero ya al siguiente año no estaría, viniendo Bruce Kulick. En 1984 sacan Heavens on fire, en Animalize. Y en 1985 otro buen álbum. Aún así estos años se conviertieron (Desde Lick it up) en desmaquillados. Sería como otra época para KISS. En 1987 sacan Crazy nights. Tema que pasará a la historia. En 1989 sacan Hot in the shade, con temas como Forever o Hide your heart. JUSTO en este punto es cuando la banda ha cumplido como banda histórica y habiendo llego alto en la fama, siendo además que su momento de "Estar a la moda" fue entre 1975 y 1979. En los 90 seguirían sacando nuevos álbumes, más "Heavy metal", destacando el tema "God gave Rock N Roll to you". Eric Carr fallece, y vendría Eric Singer. En 1997 vuelven los miembros originales (Peter Criss y Ace Frehley). Sacan temas como Psycho Circus y We are one (Himno de la banda). Siguen dando conciertos en plan "Banda histórica" hasta más o menos 2002. En 2009, sacan un nuevo disco, tratándose de un nuevo estilo de hard rock más moderno. Con nuevos miembros como son Eric Singer, que ya estuvo en los 90, y Thommy Thayer. Con esto último la banda se ve de otra manera, como otra época totalmente diferente a las demás.
