HOLY CRAP! I've been trying to figure out what they're called for YEARS. Googling it didn't help and nobody at any department store had a clue what I was talking about. This is needed. I'm sick of tucking my shirt in every time I read in the freezer or for a book on the top shelf (very common).

If you don't like them/ think they are unnecessary, then don't wear them - no-one is forcing you to. And I fail to see how wearing them would suddenly change someone's sexuality.

The truth is shirts and most formal clothes are not designed for function, just looks. Needing an accessory to put you hands overhead and having a jacket that doesn't allow any shoulder flexion without bending awkwardly is just bad design that has been perpetuated by aesthetic dogmas.
