Help a Child Remove a Loose Tooth | Skye Canyon Children's Dentist
Welcome to Skye Canyon Children's Dentist! Here's a simple
guide on how to help your child remove a loose tooth if needed.

Wash Hands Thoroughly

Step one: Ensure both your and your child’s hands are
washed thoroughly.

Use a Clean Tissue or Gauze

Step two: Use a clean tissue or gauze to gently grip the
tooth. Check with your child if they are experiencing any pain or discomfort
before proceeding.

Apply Quick and Gentle Pressure

Step three: Apply a quick and gentle pressure with a slight
twisting motion. This should only be attempted if the tooth is very loose.

If Tooth Does Not Come Out Easily

If the tooth does not come out easily, it’s best to wait a
bit longer or consult with a Skye Canyon children’s dentist.
